This sculpture is part of an ongoing exploration into the physicality of emotions and how they inhabit the body. Inspired by scientific heat maps that chart where different feelings manifest within us, the form is a translation of internal sensations into external, tactile architecture. Its rounded, stacked contours suggest a visceral presence—something simultaneously organic and constructed. The flocked blue surface acts as a soft shell, offering both a protective layer and a sensory lure, while beneath lies an imagined cross-section of layered color, hinting at the unseen strata of experience. By merging emotional mapping with abstract, biological form, the work invites viewers to consider their own internal landscapes and the ways our emotions take shape in physical space.
